The seventh film in a successful line of Pixar productions, Cars portrays the story of a young arrogant rookie by the name of Lightning McQueen. With the last race of the season ahead and the championship held in a tence three-way tie, Lightning McQueen is eager to get to the next race in California in advance of the final race a week later. Pushing Mack, his big rig transporter to make the long journey Mack soon falls asleep on route whilst falling foul of some prankster street racers. As a consequence, Lightning McQueen, asleep at the time, slides from the back of the truck and awakes in a panick in the middle of the highway. In his panic to relocate Mack, McQueen chases after a truck which turns out to be someone else.
