Are you are searching for something a little more out of the ordinary?  Struggling to find a gift for the person who has everything?  Or simply searching for a little piece of wonder and inspiration?

If so, you're in the right place.  You are looking at a perfectly-sealed deck of Bicycle playing cards inside a glass bottle.

These incredible art pieces, known as 'impossible bottles', are all individually hand-made and take many hours to create. The bottles have not been cut, melted or tampered with in any way.  Everything inside has been put there through the bottle neck (which incidentally is barely one inch wide).

An impossible bottle makes a wonderful, unique gift and a great talking point!

The Bicycle Deck

The deck contains all 52 cards in perfect order, as well as both Jokers. It is still in its original, factory-sealed cellophane wrapping. There is a small 'window' cut into the side of the deck which clearly shows all the cards.

The Bottle

The bottle is a normal, 'off-the-shelf' bottle like any you would buy. It is solid glass, and has not been sawn, cut or otherwise abused in any way. The neck of the bottle is approximately 2.5cm (1 inch) wide. The cork in the top of the bottle is removable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Confused? Curious? Read on for a few words of explanation...

What are impossible bottles?

Very simply - objects placed in bottles, that are obviously too big to fit through the bottle neck. Most people have seen ships in bottles, but over the years all sorts of other items have been bottled, including tennis balls, shoes, coins, Rubiks cubes and of course, playing cards.

How do you do it?

With a lot of time, patience and ingenuity. My bottles are designed to make you think. If you are the kind of person who gets easily frustrated by not knowing a secret, then they are probably not for you!

What's the point in your bottles?

What's the point of any creative art? To inspire. To stimulate thought. To show the world a little differently. But mainly I simply want to show you something you've never seen before.

How do I know the cards are actually in there?

Every card case has a small 'window' cut into the side, which clearly shows that all the cards are present. You can even lightly shake the bottle and see the cards move.

£49.95 for a deck of cards in a bottle?!

I am aware my bottles are not cheap. However raw materials make up only part of the overall price. The price also reflects the many hours I spend creating and perfecting each one. If you buy one, I hope you'll agree it will be money well-spent.
