Rules of the game - World Cup 2010 South Africa Football facts game

The object of the game is to collect as many cards as possible.

Deal out all the cards. The players put their cards in a pile face down in front of them.

All players put the top card of their pile in the middle of the table - still face down. The player to the left of the dealer starts the game by choosing one of these cards, picking a fact and asking a question on the national team presented on that card, eg What is the current FIFA ranking for this national team. You can also refer to the nickname from the team that is indicated on each card, to make the game a little bit harder.

All the players answer the questions in clockwise order.

The player whose answer is closest to being correct, gets the card on which question was asked as well as the other cards in the middle of the table.

All players then put their next card into the middle of the table, the winner of the last round now picks a card to ask the question.

If more than one player gives the same answer, then those players put an additional card into the middle of the table and a second question is asked from the same card. The winner gets all of the cards.
