Disney Fairies Tinker Bell Happy Families
Disney Fairies Tinker Bell happy families by Carta Mundi is a beautifully illustrated card game. It features tinkers from the Disney's Tinker Bell Fairies movie.
For those familiar with this family favourite the film enters the magical world of fairies and meets the enchanting creatures of Pixie Hollow, who believe in 'nurturing nature' to help bring about the changing of the seasons. Changing the colours of the leaves on the trees, moving a sun beam to help melt the snow, waking animals from their winter hibernation, or giving a patch of sprouting plants a sprinkle of water are all within the care of these seasonal specialists.
Tinker Bell believes her fairy talent as a 'tinker' isn't as important or special as the talents of the other fairies. When Tink tries to change who she is, nothing but disaster ensues! Encouraged by her friends Rosetta, Silvermist, Fawn and Iridessa, Tinker Bell learns the key to solving her problems lies in her unique tinker talents and discovers that when she's true to herself, magical things can happen.
The cards are a standard sized pack making them easy to hold for smaller hands. The object of the game is to collect as many families (groups of 4 cards that belong together) as possible. The player who collects the most sets is the winner.
The game is easy to learn and ideal for improving your child's memory and concentration. The box has a glitter finish making this an ideal gift for children over the age of four.
The cards include characters from the Tinker Bell story. See if you can find the following...
Tinker Bell, a fairy born of children's laughter to be a tinker fairy
Iridessa, a light fairy
Fawn, an animal fairy
Silvermist, a water fairy
Vidia, a nature fairy
How to play Happy Families
The object of the game is to collect as many families (groups of 4 cards that belong together) as possible.
Deal out all the cards. The dealer starts by asking another player for a card needed to complete the family. If the other player has the card they must give it to you. You may continue asking for cards until you make a mistake. When a mistake is made the player who was asked for their card takes their turn to request cards. That player can retake the cards taken in the previous round. When a player gathers a family they must put the 4 cards face down the table in front of them.
The player who collects the most sets is the winner.
